Backbone Collective

The Backbone Collective is a New Zealand-based coalition of survivors of violence against women. They collect and amplify survivors’ voices to inform and encourage authorities to improve systems responding to abuse, aiming for a safer and more effective support network.

European Network of Migrant Women

ENoMW is a migrant-women-led feminist, secular, non-partisan platform that advocates for the rights, freedoms and dignity of migrant, refugee and ethnic minority women and girls in Europe.

Hague Collective (USA)

The Hague Collective works to raise awareness of the 1980 Hague Convention on child abduction through research, education, and advocacy.

Klaipeda’s Social and Psychological Support Center (KSPPC)

This is a Lithuanian NGO with more than 22 years of frontline work experience providing complex psychosocial and legal support to victims of domestic violence, violence against women, institutional violence, human trafficking, prostitution, and other crimes. They advocate for feminist values and legislation, nationally and internationally.

National Family Court Watch Project

This US-based project is dedicated to providing an impartial assessment of the effectiveness of family courts in dealing with custody, visitation, support, and property issues. This project has a strong focus on how child protection and family violence are addressed by US courts.

Persons Against Non-State Torture

A campaign by Jeanne Sarson and Linda MacDonald feminist grassroots activists, researchers, writers, educators, international speakers and retired nurses who have developed grassroots science about the crime and human rights violation of non-State torture (a term coined by them). Non-State torture (NST) is committed intentionally by non-State actors, in public or private, in relationships, perpetrated within families, in human trafficking, in prostitution, in pornographic exploitation, by violent individuals, groups, and gangs, dismissed as socio-cultural, traditional, or religious acts or norms, and can be committed during migration, displacement, and in humanitarian and civil unrest, for example.

Women Against Violence Europe

WAVE is a network of over 180 European women’s NGOs working towards prevention and protection of women and children from violence. We build the capacity of our members, advocate for better legislation, conduct research and raise awareness on violence against women and girls.

Brunel University London, Global Lives Research Centre

The Research Centre addresses the challenges facing society, helping to change the lives of people around the world by bringing economic, social and cultural benefits. Current research includes themes of migration/refugees, literacy and education,and investigative journalism.

GAMBE

The GAMBE network promotes gender equality, working to prevent and counter violence against migrant women abroad. They carry out awareness-raising activities to deconstruct gender, ethnic and cultural stereotypes.

Hague Explained

A non-profit organisation offering employees of global enterprises and their families customised, informative workshops to ensure they have a full understanding of the legalities when taking children to live in another country.Sudha is a founding member and chair of Chaya, a grass-roots South Asian domestic violence prevention program in Seattle. She is the recipient the Father Drinan Award for forwarding the ethic of pro bono and public service in law schools through personal service, program design and management.

SHERA is a global research group producing Innovative research into the health, social, human rights and economic impacts of domestic abuse on women and children

Women’s Legal Services Australia

WLSA is a national network of women’s legal services advocating for a legal system that is safe, supportive, non-discriminatory, and responsive to the needs of women.

CLADEM

The Latin American and Caribbean Committee for the Defense of Women’s Rights (CLADEM) is a regional network that brings together women and organizations committed to a feminist socio-legal approach. It seeks to guarantee the full exercise and enjoyment of the human rights of all women.

GlobalARRK

GlobalARRK is an international charity dedicated to supporting ‘stuck’ parents who are unable to return to their home country with their children after a relationship has ended or seriously deteriorated. They offer information, professional contacts, and a peer support network.

Hague Mothers Japan

Founded by a survivor, this volunteer-led charity advocates for and supports Hague mothers in Japan.

Lithuanian Women’s Lobby

is a network of 40 women’s rights organizations in Lithuania and provides national coordination for the European Women’s Lobby. It focuses on advocacy work at national and international level promoting feminist values and women’s empowerment in a political field. LWLO seeks to ensure legal changes that fight all forms of violence against women, and the inequalities women face, personally, professionally and in society generally.

Building a Feminist Legal Resource Center on non-State torture, bringing together legal materials, research, and women’s and girls’ non-State torture victimization informed knowledge. 4. Women’s Platform for Action International (WoPAI)

We are also delighted to have been accepted as founder-members of Women’s Platform for Action International (WoPAI) a newly-constituted global organisation which is committed to the realisation of women’s human rights.

Echo Training

Echo Training provides expert training in trauma and resilience to trauma survivors and those who support them. Their goal is to educate families, communities and professionals about trauma and resilience in order to promote survivor empowerment, resolve individual and community-level trauma, and create the safe, stable, nurturing relationships that break the cycle of generational trauma.
In 2024 a small group of grandmothers in Australia started a WhatsApp group to encourage and support each other through the trauma and abuse of the Hague Convention process. They now provide peer- support, raise awareness, and advocate for families impacted by the Hague.

Her Hague Story

Australia’s Her Hague Story advocates for legislative changes to protect mothers and children from abuse related to the implementation of the Hague Convention. They engage in awareness campaigns and participate in forums addressing domestic violence and international child abduction.

Mothers with No Exit

Mothers With No Exit (M.W.N.E) is a support and advocacy group for foreign mothers, trapped in the Netherlands under The Hague Convention.

New Zealand Hague Collective

The charity was founded by two mothers who have been through the Hague process. They are committed to supporting those who are displaced by the Convention, as well as raising awareness about the Hague Convention and the way that it is misused by perpetrators of family and sexual violence.

Write.Edit.Heal’s mission is to support expat mothers that have been victims of domestic violence on foreign soil and who face custody battles abroad. They offer resources, translation and writing services, and advocate for political change.
